Hi, My name is Sue and I am an experienced ESL Teacher. I specialize in Business English, IELTS Speaking test preparation and Conversational English.

My qualifications include a BCom degree in Industrial Psychology, BCom Degree in Risk Management, TEFL and various other courses related to business and teaching.   

I have taught English in many different countries and my experience ranges from one on one tutoring to private academies, language centers and public schools.

My experience prior to teaching includes 7 years in IT Risk Management in a banking environment as well as Health and Safety experience and teaching Behaviour based safety to adults. 

 My philosophy as a teacher is to motivate students to do their best and extend their own personal limits. I always endeavour to devise programs, according to syllabus requirements, that expand on previous knowledge and encourage students to explore new and interesting possibilities.

 I present classes that involve the interests of the students and makes learning relevant to life. In my view all teachers should try to instill a love of learning and to make learning exciting and interesting. I am confident that my experience and skills will be an asset to my students learning and development.

 For myself, teaching provides an opportunity for continual learning and growth. I feel there is a need for compassionate, strong, and dedicated individuals who are excited about teaching. In our competitive society it is important for students to not only receive a solid education, but to work with someone who is aware of and sensitive to their individual needs.
